Recently Toronto based media giant Corus Entertainment launched its Global TV app on Android TV. This means now Canadians can stream Global series like Big Brother, Saturday Night Live and Survivor on most of their Android TVs. Global notes that episodes are available on-demand to all viewers for the first seven days after they air on TV. However, logging in with TV service credentials will grant access to Global TV live streams of new episodes, as well as access to older episodes. Actually Global TV in the app form which recently came to Roku streaming devices is also available on iOS, Android, Apple TV, Chromecast, Amazon Fire TV and the web.

The Global TV App may use data from your cellular plan and you have the option in settings to restrict content playback to WiFi only. If you choose to allow cellular playback, you may incur mobile data plan charges.
Note that Android devices with OS 5.0 or newer work all smooth with this app. Also the sign-in is valid for 90 days, and will reset for another 90 days every time you open the app. So, if you sign in once and come back every week to catch up on your favourite shows, you never need to sign in again.
